Pada bulan Maret 2011 lalu, pihak Apple merilis sebuah iPAd yang mendukung jaringan CDMA/EVDO. Jika Anda mencari iPAd tersebut saat ini mungkin akna sulit menemukannya karena produksi produk tersebuh sudah tidak dilanjutkan lagi.

Apple iPad 2 CDMA mempunyai dimensi 241.2 x 185.7 x 8.8 mm dengan bobot 607 gram. SIM yang digunakan adalah mini-SIM. Perangkat ini menggunakan tipe layar LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen dengan kedalaman warna hingga 16 juta warna. Layar tersebut berukuran 9,7 inci dengan resolusi 768 x 1024 piksel dan aspek rasio 4:3. Adapun kerapatan layarnya adalah 132 ppi. Apple IPad 2 CDMA telah dilengkapi dengan pelindung layar Scratch-resistant glass, oleophobic coating.

Perangkat ini menggunakan sistem operasi iOS 4 yang dapat di upgrade menjadi iOS 9.2.1. Selanjutnya jika ditinjau dari dapur pacunya, Apple IPad 2 CDMA didukung oleh chipset Apple A5 (45 nm) dengan CPU Dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 dan GPU PowerVR SGX543MP2. Tidak hanya itu, perangkat ini juga dilengkapi dengan tiga varian memori internal yaitu 16 GB, 32 GB dna 64 GB serta RAM 512 GB.

Beralih ke sektor fotografis, produk ini dilengkapi kamera utama dengan resolusi 0,7 megapiksel dan kamera depan VGA sehingga tidak cocok bagi mereka yang gemar berfoto karena resolusi tersebut belum mampu menghasilkan gambar yang berkualitas tinggi. Meski resolusi yang dimilikinya terbilang sangat rendah, namun kamera utama tersebut masih bisa digunakan untuk merekam video 720p@30fps.

Kemudian dari segi konektifitasnya, Apple IPad 2 CDMA dilengkapi dengan Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS dan USB 2.0 sehingga pengguna dapat mentransfer berbagai data yang dimilikinya. Tidak hanya itu, terdapat pula berbagai sensor diantaranya accelerometer, gyro dan compass.
