Pada bulan Juni 2018 lalu, pihak Blackberry kembali merilis smartphone terbarunya yang BlackBerry KEY2. Smartphone ini memiliki desain unik yang serupa dengan ponsel blackberry terdahulu.

BlackBerry KEY2 mempunyai dimensi 151.4 mm x 71.8 mm x 8.5 mm dengan bobot 168 gram. Selain itu, smartphone android ini juga dibekali teknologi IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen dengan aspek rasio 3:2 dan memiliki resolusi 1080 x 1620 piksel. Adapun kerapatan gambar yang dihasilkan yaitu 434 ppi.

Apabila ditinjau dari segi fotografi, BlackBerry KEY2 memiliki dual kamera utama dengan masing-masing resolusi 12 megapiksel sehingga snagat cocok digunakan oleh mereka yang senang mengabadikan berbagai moment. Selain itu, terdapat beberapa fitur kamera seperti Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama dan lain sebagainya. Sedangkan untuk kamera depannya memiliki resolusi 8 megapiksel dengan bukaan f/2.0 sehingga sangat cocok bagi Anda yang senang berselfie atau sering melakukan video call.

Pada bagian dapur pacunya, smartphone ini telah didukung chipset Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 (14 nm). Perangkat ini memiliki RAM dengan kapasitas 6 GB sehingga dapat menjalankan beberapa aplikasi secara bersamaan tanpa ada lag. Selain itu, terdapat pula dua varian memori internal dengan dua pilihan kapasitas yaitu 64 GB atau 128 GB sehingga memungkinkan untuk menyimpan banyak data. Jika kapasitas memori internal tersebut dirasa kurang, maka Anda dapat menambahkan microSD yang memiliki kapasitas hingga 256 GB.Sistem operasi yang digunakan pada smartphone ini adalah Android 8.1 Oreo.

Kemudian di bagian konektivitasnya telah mendukung beberapa koneksi yaitu wifi, bluetooth, USB 3.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector dan USB On-The-Go. BlackBerry KEY2 menggunakan baterai Lithium Ion non removable dengan kapasitas 3500 mAh. Untuk pilihan warnanya, ponsel ini tersedia dalam dua pilihan warna yaitu Black dan Silver.
