Huawei Honor Magic 2memiliki dimensi berukuran 157.3 x 75.1 x 8.3 mm dengan bobot 206 gram, ponsel ini memnag terasa berat saat digenggam. Namun bagaimana pun juga, Huawei Honor Magic 2 tetaplah termasuk smartphone premium dengan tipe layar AMOLED capacitive touchscreen yang memiliki kedalaman hingga 16 juta warna. Tidak hanya itu, layar ponsel ini juga mempunyai aspek rasio 19,5 : 9 piksel dengan resolusi 1080 x 2340 piksel dan kerapatan 403 piksel per inci. Adapun ukuran layar Huawei Honor Magic 2 adalah 6,39 inci.
