Akhir tahun 2018 silam, Huawei secara resmi mengumumkan ponsel baru yang bernama Nova 4. Pada Maret 2019, Huawei kembali memperkenalkan ponsel barunya dengan seri yang sama dengan nama Nova 4e yang digadang merupakan penerus dari seri sebelumnya.

Seri Huawei Nova 4e memiliki perbedaan dalam sektor display layarnya. Dimana pada Nova 4e menggunakan konsep desain waterdrop screen. Diagonal layar ponsel ini berukuran 6,15 inchi dengan resolusi 1080 x 2312 pixels. Masih sama-sama menggunakan tipe layar IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen dengan 16 juta warna.

Kamera depannya dibekali hingga 32 MP dengan bukaan lensa hingga f/2.0. Menariknya adalah kamera depan Huawei Nova 4e sudah support pengambilan foto panorama dan video hingga 1080p@30fps.

Sedangkan untuk konfigurasi kamera belakangnya menggunakan konsep triple camera. Masing-masing memiliki resolusi 24 MP dengan bukaan lensa f/1.8, 8 MP dengan fitur lensa ultra-wide yang memiliki sudut pandang hingga 120 derajat dan 2 MP dengan fitur depth sensor.

Backdoor Huawei Nova 4e dilapisi oleh material kaca 3D yang memiliki warna gradasi. Pada bagian belakang ponsel juga tertanam sensor pemindai sidik jari dengan bentuk bulat yang berada di bagian tengah. Pilihan warna yang tersedia terdapat 3 warna, yaitu Peacock Blue, Midnight Black, Pearl White.

Huawei Nova 4e dipersenjatai dengan CPU Hisilicon Kirin 710 yang disandingkan dengan grafis GPU Mali-G51 MP yang mampu membuat ponsel bekerja tanpa lag. Sebagai pendukungnya, ponsel ini dibekali oleh pilihan RAM 4 GB atau 6 GB dengan internal 128 GB. Jika internal penuh, tidak perlu cemas karena ponsel ini sudah support penggunaan microSD sampai dengan 512 GB.

Sistem operasi yang dijalankan di Nova 4e adalah Android 9.0 (Pie) dengan tampilan antarmuka EMUI 9. Sedangkan untuk batterynya sudah tertanam 3340 mAh yang dilengkapi dengan fitur pengisian daya secara cepat hingga 18W.
