Dikenalkan bersama dengan saudara kembarnya, yaitu OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus 7 Pro 5G akan hadir pada bulan Juni 2019. Tidak ada perubahan yang signifikan dari versi standarnya, hanya saja ponsel ini sudah mendukung penggunaan jaringan 5G yang sayangnya di Indonesia sendiri belum dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Dengan tampilan antarmuka khas OnePlus, yaitu menggunakan versi OxygenOS 9 yang bisa dibilang lebih rendah dari versi standarnya. Adapun sistem operasi yang dijalankan sudah tinggi, yaitu Android 9.0 (Pie).

Body ponsel ini adalah 162.6 x 75.9 x 8.8 mm dengan berat 206 gram. Sama seperti versi standarnya, OnePlus 7 Pro 5G body ponselnya terbuat dari aluminum frame. Adapun tipe SIM yang digunakan adalah Nano SIM dengan dual SIM stand by.

Beralih ke sektor display layarnya yang sudah menggunakan teknologi Fluid AMOLED capacitive touchscreen 16 juta warna dengan ukuran 6,67 inches. Adapun resolusinya adalah 1440 x 3120 pixels. Untuk melindungi display layarnya, sudah tertanam proteksi dari Corning Gorilla Glass. Sayangnya masih belum diketahui menggunakan versi berapa. Beberapa feature yang terdapat pada display layarnya diantaranya adalah DCI-P3, HDR10+ dan 90Hz.

Dari segi konektivitas sendiri, OnePlus 7 Pro 5G telah dipasang bluetooth versi 5.0, A2DP, LE, aptX HD. Sedangkan untuk teknologi GPSnya didukung oleh dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, SBAS. Menariknya, ponsel ini sudah mendukung teknologi NFC yang tentunya akan membuat lebih praktis. Adapun tipe USB yang digunakan adalah 3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go.

Daya battery ponsel ini didukung dengan kapasitas 4000 mAh yang dilengkapi fitur fast battery charging. OnePlus 7 Pro 5G tersedia dalam 3 varian warna, yaitu Mirror Grey, Almond, Nebula Blue.
