Oppo A83 yang dirilis pada bulan Desember 2017 lalu memiliki desain yang ramping serta ketajaman warna yang memukau. Dengan dimensi berukuran 150.5 mm x 73.1 mm x 7.7 mm dan bobot 143 gram, smartphone ini sangat nyaman untuk di genggam dan tidak memakan banyak tempat. Selain itu, smartphone ini juga dapat dengan mudah dibawa kemana pun Anda pergi karena terasa nyaman jika dimasukkan ke dalam kantong.  Smartphone android Oppo A83 memiliki layar IPS LCD berukuran 5.7 inci, dengan aspek rasio 18:9 dengan ukuran bezel yang sangat minimalis sehingga sangat cocok digunakan untuk menonton video atau bermain game. Tampilan visual dari Oppo A83 patut diacungi jempol karena warna dan gambar yang diperlihatkan tampak begitu tajam.

Selanjutnya jika ditinjau dari sektor dapur pacunya, smartphone ini telah mendapat dukungan prosesor Helio P23 dengan RAM 3 GB yang dapat digunakan untuk membuka banyak aplikasi secara bersamaan tanpa terjadi lag. Perangkat ini dibekali dengan memori internal berkapasitas 32 GB yang dapat menyimpan banyak data. Apabila penyimpanan internal tersebut di rasa kurang, maka Anda dapat menambahkan memori eksternal berupa microSD yang mampu menyimpan data hingga 256 GB.

Sedangkan dari sektor fotografinya, smartphone ini memiliki kamera utama beresolusi 13 megapiksel dengan bukaan f/2.2 yang dilengkapi dengan fitu LED flash dan panorama sehingga mampu menghasilkan gambar berkualitas.
