Setelah mengenalkan seri Oppo R15x pada bulan Oktober 2018, kini Oppo mengenalkan seri penerusnya, yaitu Oppo RX17 Neo. Hampir tidak ada perubahan yang signifikan dari ponsel seri baru ini, hanya pada beberapa sektor saja. Dari dimensinya masih sama, yaitu 158.3 x 75.5 x 7.4 mm dengan berat 156 gr. Oppo RX17 Neo juga didukung oleh Dual SIM card, tipe Nano SIM dengan dual stand by.

Display layarnya masih menggunakan tipe Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen dengan 16 juta warna. Ukuran layar ponsel sekitar 6,41 inchi dengan resolusi 1080 x 2340 pixels. Rationya 19:5:9 dengan kerapatan layar ~402 ppi density.

Otak utama ponsel ini menggunakan Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 yang diadu dengan CPU Octa-core (4×2.0 GHz Kryo 260 & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260) dan GPU Adreno 512. Ponsel ini sudah support OS Android 8.1 Oreo dengan tampilan user interface ColorOS 5.2. Sebagai pendukung kinerjanya, Oppo RX17 Neo dibekali RAM sebesar 4 GB.

Perbedaan dari Oppo RX17 Neo dengan seri sebelumnya berada pada memorynya. Untuk seri Oppo RX17 Neo memiliki internal sebesar 128 GB yang didukung oleh microSD sampai 256 GB. Jadi kamu tidak perlu cemas apabila kekurangan memory internal karena sudah bisa ditambahkan melalui memory eksternal.

Sensor dari Oppo RX17 Neo dibekali dengan sensor fingerprint (under display) serta sensor lain seperti compas, accelerometer dan proximity. Sedangkan untuk konektivitas Bluetoothnya menggunakan versi 5.0, A2DP, LE. USBnya menggunakan versi microUSB 2.0, USB On-The-Go.

Beralih ke sektor fotografinya. Ponsel ini memiliki dual kamera utama yang beresolusi 16 MP + 2 MP dengan depth sensor. Sedangkan kamera depannya memiliki resolusi 25 MP dengan kualitas HDR. Pengambilan videonya support sampai dengan 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps untuk kamera utama dan 1080p@30fps untuk kamera depannya. Pilihan warna Oppo RX17 Neo hanya terdapat 2 pilihan saja, yaitu Biru dan Merah. untuk kapasitas battery yang tertanam adalah 3600 mAh.
