Samsung Galaxy A8 Star telah resmi dirilis pertama kali di negara Filipina. Smartphone ini didukung layar Infinity Display yang berukuran 6,3 inci dengan resolusi full HD atau 1080 x 2220 piksel yang memiliki kerapatan 411 piksel per inci sehingga mampu menghasilkan gambar yang sangat tajam dan cerah. Smartphone ini juga dilindungi oleh lapisan antigores Gorilla Glass 5 dan didukung fitur Always On Display berteknologi Super AMOLED.

Smartphone ini sudah dilengkapi dengan sistem operasi Android 8.1 Oreo. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star dilengkapi memori internal sebesar 64 GB yang dapat diperluas dengan slot microSD hingga 512 GB sehingga Anda tidak perlu khawatir ketika akan menyimpan banyak data berukuran besar.
