Akhir tahun 2018, OnePlus sudah meluncurkan ponsel terkeren sepanjang produksinya yang dikenal sebagai OnePlus 6T McLaren. Ponsel baru ini digadang sebagai bentuk kerjasama antara McLaren dengan OnePlus. Banyak pula yang mengatakan bahwa seri anyar OnePlus 6T McLaren merupakan penerus dari OnePlus 6T.

Performa OnePlus 6T McLaren tidak perlu diragukan lagi karena sudah mengalami peningkatan dalam beberapa sektor. Performanya dikatakan memiliki kekuatan seperti halnya mobil McLaren. Kondisi ini dibuktikan dengan prosesor Octa Core dengan RAM sebesar 10 GB yang tertanam didalamnya.

Layar ponsel ini sudah berbekal layar AMOLED dengan resolusi 6,41 inci yang dilengkapi dengan fitur sensor sidik jari dengan resolusi 1080 x 2340 pixels. Layar ponsel ini sudah berbekal lapisan anti gores Corning Gorilla Glass 6 dengan teknologi DCI-P3.

Desain ponsel ini sangat berkelas karena pada bodi belakangnya terdapat casing yang didesain pattern ala carbon fiber. Bagian samping ponsel dilapisi oleh list yang berwarna orang yang menampilkan kesan ponsel berkelas yang sporty.

Ponsel ini dibekali battery dengan kapasitas 3700 mAh. OnePlus 6T McLaren juga merilis Warp Charge 30W. Warp Charge 30W adalah fitur pengisian fast battery. Dari hasil percobaan yang telah dilakukan, ponsel ini memiliki kecepatan waktu 20 menit saja untuk mencapai daya battery 50%.

Dari segi fotografi, ponsel ini memiliki 3 kamera yang terbagi atas 2 kamera utama dan 1 kamera sekunder. Dual kamera belakangnya memiliki resolusi 16 MP dan 20 MP yang memiliki fitur ISO hingga 3200, HDR hingga image stabilization. Sedangkan untuk kamera depannya memiliki resolusi 16 MP yang memiliki fitur auto HDR dan gyro EIS. Dengan kualitas kamera yang memadai tentunya dapat menghasilkan foto yang bagus dan tidak kalah dengan kamera lainnya.
