Z3 memang tidak memiliki spek yang terbaik atau termutakhir, namun ia memiliki aspek yang paling dibutuhkan pengguna setia Blackberry – komunikasi. Z3 memiliki perangkat keras dan lunak yang diperlukan untuk para penggunanya tetap terhubung. Artinya, aplikasi kelas berat dan gaming tidak jadi fokus di sini. Namun kemampuan memiliki ponsel berkelas dengan harga murah adalah sesuatu yang sulit ditolak.

BlackBerry Z3 tidak punya perangkat yang terbaru, namun cukup untuk menopang kinerja Blackberry 10. Di dalamnya sudah tertanam kaca LCD 5 inchi, 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, 8GB memori internal, dan 1.5GB RAM.

Baterai 2500 mAh tertanam di dalamnya, dan ternyata cukup awet. Baterai ini cukup untuk beroperasi seharian.

Secara umum Z3 memiliki satu pesan kuat: kesederhanaan. Punya spek kuat memang bagus, namun tidak semua orang butuh. Sebagian orang merasa cukup dengan pengoperasian chatting, sosmed, dan Youtube. Lagipula, dengan harga yang murah, harusnya pengguna, terutama di Indonesia, tak perlu menuntut lebih.
